President Ghani appoints four key advisors

KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani has appointed four key advisors for himself on affairs concerning security, the peace process, political and internal, the state-run television reported on Wednesday.
The Afghanistan Radio and Television (RTA) said the president had appointed the four advisors through a special presidential decree.
They include Juma Khan Hamdard, a former governor of three provinces, on security affairs, Qutbuddin Hilal, a key leader of the non-violent Hezb-i-Islami Afghanistan (HIA) faction led by Arghandiwal.
Hilal would advise the president on peace affairs and Dr. Akram Khaplwak, a former governor of Farah and Paktika provinces, on political affairs.
Khaliq Farooq has been appointed as advisor to the president on domestic affairs, the source said.
Khpalwak confirmed to Pajhwok Afghan News his appointment and Frooq wrote on his Facebook account about his new job.
