Most govt ministries to be transferred to Dar-ul-Aman: President

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Keeping in mind the crowed and disorder in the capital Kabul, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has said that most of the government ministries would be transferred to the Dar-ul-Aman locality.

The president said this on Friday during a meeting with elders from different localities of Kabul city, a statement from the Presidential Palace said.

He said the Ministry of Finance (MoF) would the first government institution to be transferred from its current building to Dar-ul-Aman area.

Ghani was not satisfied with the demographic condition of Kabul city and the districts of the province and said that he would pay special attention to resolve the problems faced by the people of capital city and its surrounding areas.

The president said the purposed behind the transfer of some ministries to the particular area was to reduce the crowd and bring order in the city.

He asked the elders to share the valuable comments with the government in regards making Kabul city a modern and safe capital.
