1 – Rabia Balkhi Radio:
The Rabia Balkhi Radio station is established by Mobina Khair Andish in northern Balkh Province in 2003. The radio channel covers 80 kilometers area of the province and relays programs for 18-long hours. It is a first radio station that is launched by a female. Arezo is among widely known media outlet in northern Balkh Province and is established under the leadership of Kamaludin Nabizada in 2006. The television telecasts programs for 24- hours. Its broadcast covers Kabul, Faryab, Kunduz, and Balkh Provinces. The television channel meets its financial expenditures through commercials and has 106 employees including 20 female.

3 – Sitara Sahar Radio Television:
Broadcasting programs 24- hours, the television channel is set up by Shafiullah Azizi and Dilawar Shah Haidari in northern Balkh Province. In addition to Balkh, the television covers Jawzjan and Sar-i-Pul Provinces. It covers its financial expenses through releasing commercial announcements. 4 – Lahza Radio Television:
Lahza radio television is established by Alhaj Mohammad Ibrahim Ghazanfar in northern Balkh Province in 2008. However, only radio channel of this media is still functional that relays programs for 24-hours. It covers Mazar-i-Sharif city and some districts of the province. Lahza radio station has 24 employees. However, its television is yet to be made operational.

5 – Miher Radio Television:
Miher Radio Television is known as one of the active media organizations in northern Balkh Province. Established by Ghulam Abas Ibrahimzada in 2010, the television broadcasts programs for 18-long hours. It covers only areas of Balkh Province. Miher television has 65 employees including 20 female staff and is mainly financed by its founder.

Mihraban Radio Television operates in northern Balkh Province over the last two years. The media organization is set up by Haji Mohammad Nadir with launching its activities on experimental basis in 2013.
7 – Mitra Radio Television:
Mitra Radio Television is established in 2013 by Atta Mohammad Noor with Abdul Jabar Aryayee is its executive director. The media organization telecasts social and sports programs and is financed by its founder.
8 – Band Radio:
Band Radio is set up by Ahmad Farhad Balkhi in northern Balkh Province in 2010. The radio channel broadcasts for 20 hours and covers only Balkh Province. Having 20 employees including 12 girls, Band Radio’s expenses are being generated through its commercial announcements.

Pamir Radio channel is set up by the 303rd Northern Pamir Police Zone Genera Commander in Balkh Province in 1391. The radio channel has 10 employees and it has on activities pertaining to Afghan security forces. Lal Ahmadzai is the chief editor of the organization.
12 – Sabz Radio:
Led by Mobina Khair Andish, the Sabz Radio station launches its activities in northern Balkh Province in 2009. The radio channel broadcasts from 6: 00am to 8:00 pm and covers only Balkh Province. However, its programme has been halted for the last one year. It has 20 employees including eight girls and being financed by its founder.

Known as one of the booming media organizations in northern Balkh Province, Bayan Radio is established by International Security Assistance Force (ISAF). The radio broadcasts covers Balkh and other northern provinces with Hafiz Majidi is its editor in chief.
17 – Bidar Weekly:
Bidar Weekly is established by the department of information of northern Balkh Province in 1921. Having around 500 copies, the magazine is being published weekly. Bidar weekly is being financed by information and culture department. It has ten employees.

Yaldoz By-Weekly is functioning under the structure of Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs since 1978. Noorullah Samim was the last editor-in-chief of the organization.
19 – Balkh Quarterly Magazine:
The Balkh Quarterly Magazine is being published by Balkh University since 1989. Mohammad Sadiq Asyan is the editor-in-chief. Around 500 copies are being published on quarterly basis. Most of its broadcasts discuss issues relating to lecturers and students of Balkh University.
20 – Monthly of Parcham-i-Azadi:
The Monthly of Parcham-i-Azadi has been publishing since 2002 under the control of north zone publications in Balkh Province. About 500 copies of the magazine publish each month, but presently the magazine faces multiple problems. Abdul Ghafar Aimaq is the editor-in-chief of the magazine.
21 – The Monthly Magazine of Sada-i-Maaref:
The magazine is being published by the education department of Balkh Province since 2003. It focuses on education sector and literacy issues. Akhtar Mohammad is the editor-in-chief of the Sada-i-Maaref magazine.
22 – The Monthly Magazine of Balkh-I-Imroz:
The Monthly Magazine of Balkh-i-Imroz launches its activities in 2008. It has five employees. Most of the topics of the magazine focus on business issues. The owner of the magazine is Mohammad Fahim Jamshid while Farida Rustam is the editor-in-chief.
23 – Quarterly-published Magazine of Roshnayee:
