- Sar Rawza:
The Sar Rawza district is situated at a distance of 20-kilometers to the north of the Sharana city.
Its residents are Kharoti and Omarzak by tribe. Agriculture is the main occupation of the people of Sar Rawza district. Most of the people do pine nuts business. Some of its residents are working abroad in the United Arab Emirates, UK and Pakistan.
The Omna district is located at a distance of 60-kilometers to the south of provincial capital. A large number of its residents are associated with pine nuts business. The dwellers of the area are mostly from Kharoti tribe.
The Gomal district is situated 70-kilometers to the southeast of provincial capital Sharana.
The residents of Gomal district are Kharoti by tribe.
The mountainous district has large scale pine nuts jungles, which is the main source of income of its residents.
A large number of people in Gomal are associated with pine nuts business.
The Shkin district is located 85-kilometers to the east of the provincial capital. Majority of its residents are Wazir and Zadran by tribe.
Shkin is among the frontier district having border alongside the Durand Line.
The residents of Shkin are working on the other side of the border in north and South Waziristan. Some of its residents eke out their livelihood from woods and timber business.
- Waza Khwa:
The Waza Khwa district is situated 190-kilometers to the south of provincial capital.
Belonging to Sulimankhel tribe, the residents of Waza Khwa are associated with agriculture and livestock profession and some of them are working abroad in India and Pakistan.
The Tarwah district is located 210-kilometer to the south of Sharana city.
Belonging to Sulimankhel tribe, the residents of Tarwah are mainly associated with the profession of agriculture.
- Worr Mamay:
The Worr Mamay district is located 230-kilometers to the south of provincial capital. The people of Worr Mamay are mainly from Sulimankhel tribe. Agriculture is their main profession.

The Dila district is located 187-kilometers away from the provincial capital.
Its residents are Sulimankhel by tribe. Their occupation is agriculture and livestock.
The Yousufkhel district is situated at a distance of 20-kilometers to the southeast of Sharana city.
The residents of the district are associated with the profession of agriculture, however, a portion of its population is working abroad in Iran, Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
The Yahyakhel district is located 35-kilometers to the south of provincial capital.

- Mata Khan:
The Mata Khan district is located 15-kilometers to the north of the provincial capital Sharana.
Majority of its residents are associated with the profession of agriculture while some are working in Pakistan.
Sharana city is the provincial capital of Paktika province. The district has the offices of governor from where the rest of the district is controlled administratively.
